OWNER AND HEAD COACH

ALAN PEACOCK

After completing a 5-year commercial cookery program after high school and being involved in competitive gymnastics at a state level, I decided to change my career path. Instead of spending my days in a hot kitchen, I wanted to continue developing my knowledge of movement and staying fit. This led me to work for a top gym chain, David Lloyd Leisure, in Sydney and London. Learning from experts in health and fitness, I quickly realized my passion for overall well-being and wanted to blend it with my love for food and gymnastics background.

KIERAN GEEVES PT and BOXING COACH

I became a personal trainer because I wanted to help people on their journey like I did. In high school, I weighed 102kg. When I dropped out to become a plumber, my job required more physical activity, and I lost 22kg over 2 years. Losing weight gave me confidence and made me believe I can achieve anything. I want others to realize that living an active lifestyle is fulfilling and helps you discover another side of yourself. I got into boxing to empower people and make them feel safe walking the streets. I was bullied during my plumbing apprenticeship for being overweight and too nice. I wish I knew boxing back then, not to fight but to defend myself. I teach boxing like a dance because it is graceful. Coaching became my calling at 19 when an old friend told me I looked like a coach. After my plumbing apprenticeship, I traveled the world for 4 years to gain life experience and appreciate Australia. I'm excited to be part of the Movemethod family and share my knowledge of boxing, Pilates and movement.
